Where are they today!

I thought I’d let you know where the Griffs are after 6 years.

1. River, Bold Spirit’s Whiskey River, has passed away. After a few years the new owners believed and said he was the “best dog and hunting partner they ever had or could imagine having”. They were in the area of Austin, TX.

2. Arlo, Bold Spirit’s Amarillo Highway, has now been with us since 2019.  I have trained him and he got his AKC Junior Hunter certificate, but he doesn’t get nearly the attention Brie got, my fault.  He’s now just pointing deer across the back yard fence.  He’s been crate trained for a number of years and sleeps in our bedroom. He is the epitome of a family member.

3. Shooter, Bold Spirit’s Shoot Me Straight is now in Missouri, loving his life and new owners immensely. I got photos from his past owners in Oklahoma.  “He’s a love and so well raised”.  His initial owners from Oklahoma loved him dearly, but she bred Brittanies and found a loving home for Shooter.

4. Boots, Whiskeytown Bold Spirit’s Go-Go Boots, is the only female and doing well in Idaho. She was trained by her owner and earned her NAVHDA NA title with a score of 112 Prize 1 and her AKC Master Hunter title. She was shown to her Champion status.

 

Arlo has settled down knowing he’s our love and only Griff now.  I am so grateful to the new owners for all they have done to keep Brie’s legacy alive. I don’t take that care too likely, it’s a lot of work.
